Human contact instructions	Communications must include clear instructions for contacting a human healthcare provider
Exemption	Written communications reviewed by a licensed healthcare provider are exempt from disclosure
Disclaimer placement	Format-specific: written communications must disclose at the beginning; chat/continuous interactions must disclose throughout; audio must disclose at both start and end; video must disclose throughout (per Medical Board of California GenAI Notification Requirements guidance)
